Iron Eagle Enterprises, LLC

Iron Eagle opened business in 2010 offering a variety of trucking and related services to the oil and gas industry, as well as industrial customers. With the decline of the oil and gas business, the company has shifted to offering other services. One of the fastest growing areas is residential and commercial asphalt paving and sealing. McKenzie previously owned and operated a commercial asphalt business and, with all the volatility in the oilfield, decided to go back to his roots.

The company sold more than $1 million worth of oilfield equipment and reinvested in paving equipment including pavers, rollers and grinders. The move has paid off as the company’s paving business has grown substantially. Some of the bigger jobs have included parking lots for healthcare, food service and construction companies.

The company continues to offer some of its traditional services. For example, it supplies storage tank rentals and water hauling–which it formerly offered to oil and gas drillers–but now its customers for those services are construction contractors who do bridgework.

Additionally, the company has a permitted site at its storage yard for “bridge water” or hydro demolition/hydro testing water with between 6ph – 8ph.

Other Iron Eagle services include:

  • Excavating for site preparation, clearing right of ways and digging basements
  • Industrial cleaning services for mill work and sanitary district
  • Asphalt specialty services, such as walking paths and pickle ball courts

Additionally, Iron Eagle operates a storage rental facility, Liberty Vault, located just down the road from its Belmont Avenue headquarters at 1611 Amherst Rd. The storage facility welcomes smaller contractors who are looking for indoor or outdoor space for their equipment. There also is indoor and outside space available for RV storage. The company hopes to build another building, hire additional staff and add more storage units this summer.
